CFS in Newburgh, NY is seeking a Junior Accountant to join a growing CPA firm client. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience serving multiple clients and developing accounting skills in a public accounting environment.

You will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, support month-end close, and contribute to financial statements and tax work while maintaining organized records.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• CPA firm or public accounting experience is a plus.
• Motivated to learn and grow within a public accounting environment.
