A dynamic and creative media company based in Los Angeles, producing content across television, film, digital, and branded platforms is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant.

The Junior Accountant will assist with general ledger entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and other basic accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their accounting career in the media industry, with exposure to a variety of financial processes and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

Help prepare internal financial reports and supporting documentation

Track and reconcile production and operational expenses

Assist with vendor communications and payment inquiries

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

0-2 years of accounting experience (internships or relevant coursework a plus)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting, basic pivot tables)

Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Excellent communication and willingness to learn

Preferred:

Internship or prior experience in the media, entertainment, or creative industries

Knowledge of GAAP principles

Enthusiasm for the entertainment/media business
