Beaufort County is seeking a Judicial Technician in the Magistrate’s Court to perform clerical and customer service tasks essential to daily court operations, including data entry, records management, document preparation, and mail processing.
The role requires excellent customer service across in-person, phone, and electronic channels, accurate information delivery, and courteous treatment of all customers, with a strong emphasis on discretion and professional demeanor.
A Judicial Technician in Magistrate’s Court performs clerical and customer service functions associated with daily court operations. Job duties include, but are not limited to, data entry, records management, document preparation, processing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling for court, and providing excellent customer service. Customer service entails in person, telephonic and electronic contact with customers, acceptance and processing of filings and payments, providing correct and concise information and treating all customers with dignity and respect.
