Summary of Job Classification:
Performs duties of a judicial clerk plus daily oversight and direction of newer staff, performs case management for all cases types/situations or for a complex specialized area, independently conducts special projects, can independently provide courtroom and judicial officer support and similar duties requiring related experience and/or specialized knowledge.
Salary offers will align with the Colorado Judicial Department’s compensation step plan and are made based on several factors, including relevant experience, available budget, and compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Provision of complete work history ensures all relevant experience is considered in the salary offer determination process.

This position will support Division 4 and Judge Gunning, and work in-person, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays, with an hour-long break for lunch.
Candidates will complete a typing test prior to interview, and a typing speed of at least 40 WPM is preferred.

Education and Experience Equivalency:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Work Related Experience:
At least five (5) years of experience as a Judicial Clerk II or Court Judicial Assistant for the Colorado Judicial Department.
OR
At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in a position similar to the Judicial Clerk II position.

None.
Physical Effort Requirements:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involve sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionaly.
