Job summary

Colorado Judicial Department is seeking a Budget Analyst/Manager to oversee the preparation, execution, and fiscal notes of the department's annual budget. The role includes directing budget management, staffing patterns, and coordination with legislative staff.

Under the CFO, you will supervise budget operations, assist courts and agencies in budget preparation, and ensure compliance with budgetary policies across the Judicial Department.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in finance; accounting; business, judicial or public administration; or related field.
  • Five years of experience in budgeting or general finance analyst work.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the budget including budget preparation, budget execution and fiscal notes.
  • May supervise purchasing and/or grants management.
  • Develops methodologies and procedures for the preparation of the annual budget; implements and monitors budgetary policies and procedures for the Judicial Department.
  • Directs all budget management activities; staffing patterns and budget allocations; monitoring expenditures and revenues.
