Job summary

Aretum is seeking a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide specialized expertise in Close Air Support (CAS) and air-to-ground operations. You will support mission planning, execution, and assessment by coordinating air assets, ground forces, and fires in line with current doctrine.

Travel to client locations is expected as project needs vary. This federal consulting role requires adherence to safeguarding/compliance requirements and active security

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of joint air-to-ground integration and CAS employment.
Familiar with OPORDs, ATOs, ACOs, SPINS, and MISREPs.

Responsibilities

Provide expert knowledge of air-to-ground command-and-control systems and processes (TACS/AAGS, MACCS, NTACS).
Coordinate with AOC RC and White Force on CAS weapon capabilities and employment considerations.
Support integration of CAS with joint air operations into planning products (OPORDs, ATOs, ACOs, SPINS).
Assist exercise planners in synchronizing CAS with supported maneuver forces for training or testing.
Develop CAS-related input to the battle damage assessment (BDA) process.
