Job summary

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, LLC is seeking a talented professional to join our team in Puerto Rico and the USA, contributing to a world-class manufacturing environment. You’ll plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules to meet production requirements and ensure material flow.

You’ll collaborate with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and inventory control while maintaining on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in required field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand English to comply with procedures.
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field (1+ year with a master's).
• Ability to meet and achieve production goals and performance targets.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with Work Orders and production-related documentation.
• Shift: 1st shift (40 hours per week).

• Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.

• Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
• Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.
• Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.
• Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
