Job summary

FlightSafety Defense Corporation, part of FlightSafety International, seeks a JSE Cloud/Cyber Architect to implement and verify JSE/SCARS-compliant software for WST and Training Systems in cloud deployments. You will work under the JSE Project Lead to deliver containerized solutions and verify interfaces against ICD/IDD specifications.

The role requires a solid foundation in cloud deployment, cybersecurity controls, RMF, and DevSecOps practices, with travel to government test events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE/EE; Masters preferred.
• 4–8 years in simulation software, system integration, or cloud engineering (DoD context preferred).
• Proficiency in C++ and Python; experience with cloud APIs for simulation.
• Experience with GitLab, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible/Terraform.
• Experience with ICDs/IDDs or similar technical specs.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software to connect FlightSafety training devices to the JSE via GRID in a virtualized/cloud environment.
• Implement message production/consumption and verify data model alignment; run test harness service tests.
• Support SCARS compliance, RMF activities, and maintain ICD/IDD traceability.
• Build DevSecOps pipelines for JSE/SCARS software deliverables and document results.
