Job summary

The instructor will plan engaging lessons, lead hands-on leadership labs, and oversee drills, PT, and uniform inspections while maintaining cadet records and coordinating extracurricular events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cumulative honorable service for NCOs (E-6 to E-9) within past 5 years.
• 8+ years of honorable service for Officers (W-1 to W-5, O-3 to O-6) within past 5 years.
• Letter of Recommendation from current Commander required for ARNG/USAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and develop curriculum for JROTC, covering leadership, citizenship, history, health, fitness and life skills.
• Create engaging lesson plans aligned with JROTC goals and provide classroom instruction and labs.
• Maintain cadet progress records, attendance and evaluations with accuracy.
• Oversee cadet leadership and program management within the battalion/unit.
• Coordinate drill, ceremonies, PT, and uniform inspections for cadets.
• Organize extracurriculars such as drill team, color guard, Raiders, academics and service events.
• Manage cadet promotions, awards and recognition programs.
