Job summary

iFOAM is opening a new location in Alpharetta, GA and is seeking driven individuals to join our fast-growing team as spray foam technicians. You will work under supervision on assigned jobs, handling installations and prep work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, relevant insulation or construction experience, and a valid driver's license. Training, advancement opportunities, and a performance-based bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have 1+ years of relevant insulation/construction experience.
• Working knowledge of spray foam equipment.
• Must read drawings and spray accordingly.
• Valid driver's license and be able to clear a pre-employment screening.
• Preferred: product certifications/licenses that are required by codes.
• A vocational/technical degree is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Performs installations, upgrades, and additions. Prep and cleanup work.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must complete other projects, as assigned.
• Perform scheduled or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment systems under contract agreement. Inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating these systems are just a few tasks that could be assigned.

National insulation services company, iFOAM, is opening a new location in Alpharetta. While we are locally owned, we are backed by a national brand and a team of industry experts. We serve residential retrofit customers as well as custom home, light commercial, and metal structure builders across the northern metro Atlanta area (north of I-285 in Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett, and Cherokee counties). We are seeking driven individuals to join our fast-growing team.

The standard function of the position is to spray foam while working under the supervision of a senior technician and or next level supervisor on assigned jobs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state, and local codes.
• Requires 25 % to 50 % proficiency in product offerings.
• Vocational/Technical degree in aligned area of study.
• An ideal individual must be technically inclined, good written and verbal communication skills, energetic, self-motivated, dependable to work under little or no supervision and demonstrate job stability and eagerness to learn.
• Individuals with experience in construction field and or knowledgeable in the spray foam industry are highly encouraged to apply.

• SPFA Professional Certification Program (PCP) training or credentials
• Graco or manufacturer equipment training

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
  • Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with "on call availability" and must be able to travel on short notice.
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
