Job summary

CEdge Inc in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our federal/state government IT projects and help deliver secure software in an Agile setting.

You will work with JavaScript using Node.js and React, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and cloud-native development, and collaborate across teams to produce high-quality increments. A Bachelor’s degree and security clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• 1-4 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Javascript development using Node.js and React.
• Familiarity with SQL/RDBMS, API integration, cloud-native development, and Docker/containers.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
• Clearance: Secret Clearance DCWF 8140.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant STEM field.
• Minimum experience: 1-4 years.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to incremental software delivery, supporting defect resolution and operational efficiency.
• Help facilitate real-time feedback loops through scheduled and ad-hoc demonstrations.
• Help deliver working software increments that meet functional, security, and quality acceptance criteria.
• Assist in documenting technical debt and emerging requirements for actionable tickets.
