Job summary

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Purchasing Agent in Livermore, CA to support procurement, supplier communications and inventory management. You will assist with purchase orders, monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

This role is responsible for assisting with purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing and procurement activities
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, orders, and deliveries
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment efforts
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Support vendor negotiations and sourcing initiatives
• Prepare reports and assist with departmental projects

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, or related experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory control processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
