CBRE is seeking a Technical Coordinator for its Engineering and Technical Services team in San Diego. You will assist with engineering operations alongside technicians, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain building systems and equipment.

You will review work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, ensure compliance with codes and safety directives, and help achieve reliable, safe and efficient operation of the client’s facilities under close supervision.

Formación

• Experience in building operations and maintenance.
• Ability to follow codes and safety directives.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Review work orders and resolve issues.
• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
• Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
• Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Review work orders and resolve issues.
• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
• Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
• Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
