Qualifications

Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Jr. Machinist!

What You’ll Do

  • Assist Sr. Machinists in assignment planning, layout, setup, operation, and tool adjustments of various types of equipment.
  • Review and verify dimensions and tolerances in drawings to determine best setup and work operation sequences.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, or materials onto machines.
  • Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.
  • Supports the shop in aspects of material sourcing, kitting, organizing and other shop logistics.

What You Need

  • Ability to use shop mathematics, drawings and measuring tools.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100.
  • High school diploma and 3-5 years of experience, or Associate's Degree and 0-3 years of experience in a machine shop.
  • U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.

Salary Range

$37,200.00-$49,600.000
