Job summary

Glanbia Enterprise Services Inc. is seeking a Jr. IT On-Site Support Engineer in Gooding, Idaho to join the IT Operations Team Lead US West. You will provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, servers, network gear, telephony, and security systems, delivering timely third-level support when needed.

The role is entry-level, reporting to the IT Operations Team Lead. Expect after-hours support on a rotational basis while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support by diagnosing hardware and software problems and replacing defective components.
• Maintains and monitors server operations, server backups, anti-virus compliance, encryption compliance, and network components according to standards and procedures; including incident and service request ticketing.
• Performs 3rd level technical support for issues escalated from service desk.
• After hours support on a rotational basis.

Role Summary

The Jr. IT On-Site Support Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, support and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. This person will focus on the administration of desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, telephony, security/access technologies and related systems operations. The position will provide 3rd level support to resolve problems in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required
