Job summary

Sylvania is seeking aSupervisor: Principal / Director & Assistant Director of Special Education to lead IEP planning and execution at Century Jr. High. The role involves planning and implementing student IEP goals under supervision of the Principal and Director of Specialist Education.

Qualified candidates will have ISBE PEL with LBSI endorsement and experience with assessments and IEP development. Collaboration with staff and ongoing professional growth are essential elements of this position.

Salary: Per Collective Bargaining Agreement, 2024-2028 Contract Extension (with salary schedule)

Summary

Under the general supervision of the Principal and Director of Specialist Education, plan and implement student individual education plans (IEPs) goals.

Qualifications / Experience

• Wilson Trained, preferred
• An interest and/or experience working with students with varying levels/types of disabilities.
• Expertise in conducting educational assessments and the development of individual educational programs.
