This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Jr. Enterprise Solutions Engineer based in the United States.
As a Jr. Enterprise Solutions Engineer, you'll help translate client business challenges into scalable technical solutions, with a strong focus on data and marketing technology. You'll work closely with sales, client partners, product, strategy, and delivery teams while learning from experienced solutions engineers. The role combines problem-solving, technical discovery, solution design, research, and client-facing storytelling. You'll contribute to real opportunities from the outset, developing RFP responses, presentations, demonstrations, and solution documentation. You'll also gain hands-on experience with data, identity, AI, privacy, and mar-tech capabilities. Accountabilities
- Partner with senior solutions engineers to understand client business and technical requirements, investigate challenges, and translate findings into practical solution approaches.
- Capture, organize, and synthesize discovery notes, requirements, and client inputs into clear documentation for internal solutions teams.
- Prepare initial materials for RFPs, RFIs, client presentations, solution narratives, and other pre-sales deliverables.
- Build demonstrations and proof points that communicate technical capabilities and show how proposed solutions can address client needs.
- Conduct client, competitive, industry, and market research to support solution design, positioning, and opportunity strategy.
- Maintain accurate and organized solution documentation, deal materials, and other supporting artifacts.
- Collaborate across sales, account management, delivery, product, strategic advisory, and solutions teams to ensure alignment throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
- Support enterprise discovery by helping identify root-cause business challenges, technical requirements, feasibility considerations, risks, and potential value.
- Contribute to the design of scalable data and marketing technology solutions aligned with client objectives and relevant partner capabilities.
- Develop the ability to assess data, identity, and technology capabilities against specific client use cases.
- Apply AI tools to accelerate research, content development, discovery, solution design, and daily workflows.
- Share effective AI-enabled practices and emerging use cases with the broader team.
- Develop technical narratives that translate complex concepts into clear, outcome-focused messaging for different stakeholder audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in mar-tech, ad-tech, or a data-focused role such as data analyst, data engineer, sales engineer, or a related position.
- Foundational understanding of data concepts, including data pipelines, customer data platforms, identity resolution, analytics, or related technologies.
- Familiarity with pre-sales processes, including deal strategy, pricing inputs, RFP/RFI processes, new-logo opportunities, and upsell opportunities.
- Comfortable using AI tools and demonstrated interest in applying AI to everyday professional workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex challenges while considering feasibility, risk, and potential business value.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and translate complex information into straightforward, outcome-focused narratives.
- Strong research, analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Collaborative and transparent working style, with the ability to build trust across sales, account management, delivery, strategy, and technical teams.
