Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a Jr. Electro-Mechanical Technician for the 2nd shift to join the Countryside facility.
You will work with maintenance to keep equipment and lines running, participate in upgrades, and learn mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills through a 2‑year program. Expect to complete internal training, work with journeymen, and gain hands-on experience while using SAP for maintenance tasks.

We can't do what we do best - make great-tasting sausage products - unless our equipment is reliably running at its best. Members of our maintenance team keep our machines, lines and facilities running. You and your teammates will be responsible for all production and industrial refrigeration equipment, as well as our electrical controls systems. You'll also work closely with our engineers and production members to make important upgrades to our production machinery, as we innovate and grow the business.
Pay Range: $25.53/hr - $33.18/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium
Hours: 1:15pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Do you have a passion for troubleshooting problems and maintaining equipment? Johnsonville has a program dedicated to learning and developing these critical Maintenance skills? By participating in this Junior Maintenance Technician program, you will work side by side with the Maintenance Team doing exactly that. You will be able to develop your understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills as well as participate in continuous improvement activities. This is a 2-year program designed to get you ready for a higher position in Maintenance.
Members that are awarded this position will work through a training program under the guidance of journeymen maintenance technicians to ensure the skill area needs of the position, development of the individual, and guiding principles of Johnsonville are met.
