Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Design and deploy infrastructure systems for AI products in on-premise/private cloud customer environments.
2. Manage and monitor AWS-based environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of SaaS applications.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, such as PCI-DSS and GDPR, by implementing necessary controls to maintain a secure banking/finance environment.
4. Design and implement infrastructure and automation tools that support continuous delivery and deployment processes.
5. Be responsible for end-to-end service packaging and deployment pipeline scripting for complex business information systems.
6. Lead innovation efforts in evaluating new frameworks, libraries, and technologies.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, providing support to development and operations teams.

Your Skills and Experience

1. 2+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure management roles, preferably in a banking or financial institution environment.
2. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python.
3. Solid understanding of security, scalability, and fault tolerance patterns.
4. Experience supporting production software in a 24/7 environment.
5. Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements like PCI-DSS or GDPR, with experience implementing necessary controls and monitoring.
6. Proficiency in deploying, managing, and operating infrastructure systems on AWS.
7. Knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
8. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
2. Experience with AI and Machine Learning concepts and tools.
3. Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2.
4. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
