Job Summary

As a Jr. Designer, Marketing at Rexford Industrial, you’ll support the marketing team in creating compelling visuals that enhance our brand presence across digital and print platforms, both externally and internally. You’ll play a key role in internal event branding, designing branded collateral as well as assisting in motion graphic and video content creation. This role is perfect for a creative individual who is passionate about internal engagement, visual storytelling and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the marketing team to design compelling digital and print assets for open houses, ensuring a strong brand presence and audience engagement.
  • Develop visually engaging presentations and infographics for key internal stakeholders, transforming complex information into clear, compelling visuals.
  • Work closely with HR and event teams to develop engaging materials that enhance employee experience and workplace culture.
  • Create dynamic materials for internal initiatives and company culture-building events, reinforcing employee engagement and corporate identity.
  • Storyboard and produce motion graphics for both internal and external events, enhancing visual storytelling and audience interaction.
  • Edit and optimize corporate videos and social media reels, aligning with brand messaging and marketing goals.
  • Craft polished, visually engaging presentations that effectively communicate key messages to stakeholders and drive business impact.
  • Assist in the creation and post-production of video content for marketing campaigns, internal communications, and social media storytelling.
  • Support the development of motion graphics and animations, bringing brand messaging to life through engaging visuals.
  • Capture and document company events through photography and videography, creating content that highlights corporate milestones and culture.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external materials, upholding corporate identity and design standards.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a related field.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience in graphic design (internship experience may be considered).

Special Skills

  • Required: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to solve problems.
  • Interest in event design and internal culture-building initiatives.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing and motion graphics.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with a passionate team that values innovation and engagement.

Rexford Industrial's total reward plan includes a premier benefits package, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected hourly rate range for this role is $28.85 to $33.65, with a 10% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.*The actual hourly rate and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final hourly rate and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date.
