Job summary

GCA is seeking a Cyber Security SecOps Administrator to join our team in Virginia. The role focuses on managing security infrastructure and day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including STIG and SCAP tasks, vulnerability remediation, and server hardening in a Vsphere environment.

The candidate will create automation scripts, document procedures, and communicate with leadership daily. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and a current clearance/eligibility for Top Secret/SCI are required.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 - IAT Level II certification required (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security).
• Secret clearance required to start; must be eligible for Top Secret/SCI.
• 7+ years of experience with systems administration.
• DoD system accreditation process.
• STIG checklist review including SCAP scans.
• BS degree; additional years of experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Implement STIG releases across operating systems and applications.
• Track and remediate IAVM vulnerabilities.

• Perform software upgrades, patch installs, and firmware upgrades.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot OS, hardware, network, and related software.

Geospatial and Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a Cyber Security SecOps Administrator to join our team! Your role as a Cyber Security SecOps Administrator will be managing and maintaining the security infrastructure of an organization, focusing on the day-to-day tasks related to cybersecurity operations.

Duties to include:

• Implement STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications
• Tracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities
• Manages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as required
• Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades
• Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
• Daily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadership
• Continual attention to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements needed to harden the servers
• Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using Vsphere
• Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks
• Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers various tasks

Required Skills:

• DoD 8570 - IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
