Ultipro is seeking a Component Planner who translates project plans and demand into material needs, maintains reorder points and safety stock, and partners with stakeholders to optimize our supply chain.

You will schedule material demands, monitor ERP data, and support production with timely replenishment while controlling costs. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is preferred.

Formación

• Associate's Degree or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience working in a planning/production position required.
• Experience with industrial products and electric equipment is highly preferred. Experience with actuation and control products, and gear boxes, is a plus.
• Experience utilizing MRP, SFC, and MPS systems is preferred.
• Experience with expediting components, capacity planning and slow-moving inventory is preferred.
• Ability to review multi-layer BOMs and dynamically manage complex component demands.
• Professionalism in working with other departments with the ability to expedite requests/orders through the appropriate processes and channels.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have the ability to prioritize and execute the plan to meet deadlines.
• Computer skills – specifically detailed knowledge of Excel and Power BI. Proficiency in creating analytical tools is a plus.

A Component Planner receives project plans and demand information from other departments and uses this information to determine what materials will be needed and when. The Component Planner is responsible for managing inventory by maintaining reorder points/safety stock for both purchased and manufactured items. The Component Planner works with stakeholders in planning and other departments daily to proactively improve our supply chain process and quickly solve material issues as they arise.
