Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Planner in Romulus, MI. The role focuses on coordinating production workflow, inventory management, and ERP/MRP accuracy to support manufacturing demand.

You will lead a team, collaborate with Purchasing (USA or France), and drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in logistics, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Movex, EDI, and MRP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in logistics or related field.

Responsibilities

Description

Required Duties/Tasks to be accomplished:

• Coordinating production workflow for ACTIA Electronics. Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
• Ensuring that all requirements are met by the Supply Chain Department.
• Ensure that ERP/MRP is running according to planning and Procurement agents are compliant with MRP Process.
• Meet weekly with Purchasing group to review all open projects and discuss “big picture” objectives and course of action. (Purchasing could be in USA or France)
• Responsible for managing overall inventory levels, increasing inventory turns, while keep an uninterrupted flow of material for manufacturing.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems.

Miscellaneous Duties:

• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
• Interfaces with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments
• Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions
• Other duties as assigned
