Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Jr C4ISR Analyst to join our team in Quantico, VA. You will conduct all-source analysis to assess foreign C4ISR capabilities, capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities for national security decisions.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant analytic experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. We value independent work, rigorous tradecraft, and strong quantitative and qualitative methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; substitution allowed with 7 years of labor-category experience.
• 3+ years of analysis experience in the labor category, with recent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all-source methods to assess C4ISR capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze foreign C4ISR assets including disposition, movements, sensors, and networks.
• Analyze electronic signals using ELINT data sources and techniques.
• Analyze foreign early warning capabilities to detect maritime, ground, and air activities.
• Monitor ISR acquisition/modernization trends using SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT.
• Conduct analytic production on naval and air capabilities across C4ISR domains.
• Research current and future ISR capabilities using SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT.
• Evaluate foreign capabilities to detect U.S. activities and communications, and assess timing of threats.
• Follow technology transfer and assess military impact on recipient actors.
• Monitor ISR modernization trends and their operational impact.

BTS is seeking a Jr C4ISR Analyst to join the team in Quantico, VA.

Overview

Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Desired Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

What you'll do

• Conduct all-source methods to assess foreign military command, control, communications, and computer (C4) and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze foreign military exercises and operations to identify C4ISR TTPs, strategy, doctrine, readiness, maintenance, integration, and compatibility issues.
• Analyze military C4ISR assets to include, but not limited to, disposition, movements, sensors, operability, architecture, networks, nodes, targeting, survivability tactics, and denial and deception tactics.
• Analyze signals and associated emitters utilizing Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) data sources, tools, and techniques.
• Analyze foreign early warning capabilities and limitations to detect, notify, and react to U.S. maritime, ground, and air activities and communications.
• Monitor C4ISR acquisition/modernization trends using SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT sources and assess its impact on U.S. military operations, tactics, and systems.
• Conduct all-Source analytic production on foreign naval air, surface, undersea warfare and/or naval infantry/amphibious/expeditionary forces C4ISR capabilities to include, but not limited to, exercises, tactics, platforms, sensors, strategy and doctrine, weapons and readiness.
• Conduct research to determine current and future foreign Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities using SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT sources.
• Analyze foreign capabilities and limitations to detect U.S. maritime, ground, and air activities and communications.
• Conduct temporal analysis to determine a country's early warning capabilities.
• Follow technology transfer and its military impact and ability of recipient actors to assimilate transferred technology.
• Monitor ISR acquisition/modernization trends and assess its impact on U.S. military operations.
