Partner Company in a fully remote setup seeks a Jr Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for a Canadian business, collaborating with a team across India and Canada. The role emphasizes autonomy, process improvements, and financial efficiency.

You will handle bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting, contributing to month-end close and budgeting while maintaining strong English communication and independent work habits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/commerce or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or Sage and advanced Excel/Sheets.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate records.
• Process payroll, manage accounts payable/receivable, and support closing.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and finance ops.

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized financial records.
• Process payroll accurately and within required deadlines, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform reconciliations, prepare monthly financial reports, and support month-end/year-end closing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field with 2–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Sage, or comparable systems, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, with ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Fully remote position based in India with direct collaboration from a Canada-based finance and management team.
• Broad exposure to bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and business finance operations.
• Autonomy and ownership, with opportunities to contribute to financial efficiency and process automation.
