Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar field required.
• 1+ years of experience in audit or accounting.
• Experience building and using complex Excel workbooks and models.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for diverse transactions (retail, expenses, payments, inventory).
• Review inventory count sheets, unit conversions, and related adjustments.
• Manage bank and payment processes.
• Assist in tax filings and internal reporting.
• Analyze, investigate, and document account and margin variances.
• Support process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.

If you want to be a strong teammate and work toward advancement to Staff Accountant, this opportunity is for you!What You Will Do:You will support the accounting team by owning a number of areas, including:Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for a diverse range of transactions, including retail operations, expense allocations, payments, and inventory movementsReviewing inventory count sheets, unit conversions, and related adjustmentsManaging certain bank and payment processesContributing to the preparation of various tax filings and internal reportsAnalyzing, investigating, and documenting account and margin variancesDriving ongoing process improvement, with a constant goal to improve quality and efficiencyEducationBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field of studyExperience1+ years of experience (or internship) in audit or accountingExperience building and using complex Excel workbooksExperience with an ERP system is a plus (we’ll train you)SkillsAttention to detail.
