Archdiocese of Omaha, Reed Family Early Learning Academy in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher. The role supports daily classroom activities, family communication, and a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1500 hours of childcare, and a readiness to learn in early childhood education. You will collaborate with a Center Director and fellow staff to ensure high-quality care and development.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate way.
• Sensitive to individual differences and adjust curriculum to meet needs.
• Motivated to learn and grow in early childhood education.
• Able to relate to parents in a respectful and courteous manner.
• Willing to work in a team, share ideas, and be flexible.

Responsabilités

• Greets each child and parent in a warm, friendly manner.
• Interacts with children, supports involvement in activities.
• Maintains a warm, safe, clean, and appealing environment.
• Assists in implementing daily activities related to the curriculum.
• Ensures health, welfare, and safety of children; do not leave unsupervised.
• Oversees mealtime/snack activities and related record keeping.
• Assist with diapering on a regular schedule as needed.
• Updates meal/diaper/activity/photos in childcare app.
• Maintains daily communication with parents via verbal updates and app.
• Works with staff to maintain a positive team atmosphere.
• Keeps confidentiality of privileged information.
• Adheres to academy policies and state regulations.
• Performs assigned duties with punctuality and attendance.
• Attends staff meetings and supports center needs.
