Sunrise Senior Living in Columbia, MD is seeking an Activities Assistant to help plan and lead daily activities, events, and enrichment programs for residents. You will encourage participation, prepare calendars and newsletters, and escort residents to programs while maintaining organized spaces and supplies.

Strong communication and organizational skills, plus the ability to lead small groups, are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver's license (as applicable).
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
