Happy Kids Dentistry in Longview, Washington is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join a cheerful team and help create a fun pediatric dental experience for children. This onsite role offers a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM and a pay range of $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience as dental assistant preferred or willing to be trained.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform prophylaxis and take digital radiographs.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• High school diploma; graduating from dental assisting program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet young patients with a warm smile and help them feel comfortable for visits.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take dental x-rays and document findings.
• Explain treatment plans to parents and reinforce dental hygiene at home.
