Job summary

The Maker’s Clubhouse Early Learning Center, a program of Bible Center Church, is hiring an Assistant Early Learning Center Teacher. The role supports classroom instruction with an age‑appropriate curriculum and close collaboration with lead teachers.

Responsibilities include daily lesson prep, guiding children’s development across cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical areas, and maintaining a safe, organized learning space. Experience with Brightwheel is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credential required or attainable.
• Previous experience with young children preferred.
• Must meet state licensing and background clearance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a teaching team and form positive relationships.
• Brightwheel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement an age‑appropriate curriculum.
• Prepare daily lessons by gathering materials and organizing activities.
• Lead and assist children in activities supporting development.
• Teach manners, classroom expectations and positive social behaviors.
• Create an engaging, curious classroom environment.
• Maintain supervision and follow health and safety procedures.
