Journey is seeking an Activities Assistant in Carrollton, GA to support the Activities Director by planning monthly calendars, coordinating group and one-on-one activities, and organizing events and outings for residents. The role emphasizes engaging residents and documenting participation to inform ongoing programs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (CNA preferred but not required) and a commitment to enhancing resident well-being through thoughtful programming.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Assist the Activities Director in planning, creating, and posting a monthly calendar of activities for residents and visitors.
• Engage residents or family members to understand activity preferences and document participation and feedback.
• Monitor mood, behavior, and participation during activities and report any changes to the Activities Director.
