Bayou Electrical Services in Beaumont, TX is seeking an experienced Industrial Journeyman Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems in an industrial setting. You will read blueprints, work with engineers and other trades, and ensure safety through LOTO procedures.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial experience, knowledge of NEC, and proficiency with PLCs and high‑voltage equipment.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience as a Journeyman electrician in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment, PLCs, and motor controls.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship and a current TWIC Card.

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures and control systems per codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or system failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
• Service motors, generators, transformers, and control systems in industrial equipment.

Experience

• Proficiencywithindustrialelectricalsystems,includinghigh-voltageequipment,PLCs(ProgrammableLogicControllers),andmotorcontrols.

• StrongknowledgeoftheNationalElectricalCode(NEC).
• Abilitytouseelectricaltestingtoolssuchasmultimeters,megohmmeters,andcircuitanalyzers.
