Job summary

Steel Fabricator in Ridgefield, WA is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter for full-time, on-site work. Expect 5 years welding in a fabrication environment and 3–4 years fitting, with a strong emphasis on reading drawings and safety practices. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and hold a clean Washington driver’s license.

Regular hours, with overtime and occasional weekends. Salary ranges from $23.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on certification, skills and experience.

Qualifications

Busy, state of the art Steel Fabrication Shop, conveniently located right off the freeway in Ridgefield, is looking for an experienced and responsible Welder/Fitter.

Requirements:

5 Years Welding in a Steel Fabrication Environment

3-4 Years experience fitting

Must Be at Least 18 Years of Age

Must Be Able to Stand for 8+ Hours a Day

Ability to Lift 65 lbs.

Knowledge of Proper Equipment, Materials and Supplies used in Steel Construction Work.

Ability to:

• • Understand, Follow and Transmit Written and Oral Instructions
  • Understand and Execute Drawings
  • Adhere to Safe Use of Equipment and Tools
• Consistently Meet Dependable Schedule and Attendance
• Consistently At Work On-Time
• Ability to Work Overtime, Weekly Average 50 Hours

  • Required Overtime as Needed

  • Occasional Saturdays
