Job Description

A Journeyman Toolmaker/Mold Maker is a skilled professional who has completed proper schooling and training to obtain a journeyman’s certification in tool and die making. They can interpret engineering drawings, set up and operate various machine tools (including CNC machines), and build and repair precision molds, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. They ensure high quality and tight tolerances by accurately measuring and inspecting completed work while adhering to company standards. The role requires managing project timelines and workloads across departments through effective communication with managers and department leads, ensuring successful scheduling. The candidate should work well in a team environment and be capable of directing team members to achieve success.

• Experience in die cast dies.
