Job summary

Napleton's Valley Hyundai is seeking a Journeyman Technician to join a busy shop servicing over 100 cars per day. You will diagnose and repair to dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through trust and confidence in Napleton's workmanship.

We offer pay starting at $45.15 per hour with incentive-based pay, paid training, manufacturer certifications, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-starter and process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws.
• 18+ years of age to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay and keep management informed of repair issues as they arise.

Located at Napleton's Valley Hyundai, theJourneyman Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
