Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking an experienced Supermarket Refrigeration Journeyman Technician to join our Nashville and Knoxville team. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems with a focus on supermarket equipment.

Qualifications

Journeyman experience in supermarket refrigeration work.
Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace refrigeration systems.
Computer proficiency and willingness to learn computer-based technology.
Ability to work with HVAC systems and electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rack and conventional refrigeration equipment.
Install and start up refrigeration equipment and cooling systems.
Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on refrigeration systems.
Communicate with customers regarding planned tasks, issues, or impacts.
Advise Refrigeration Service Manager on job progress and material/labor needs.
Order replacement parts as needed and ensure accurate documentation.
