DeBra-Kuempel Inc. in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, seeks a Supervisory Refrigeration Journeyman Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems with a focus on supermarket equipment.

The ideal candidate has journeyman refrigeration experience, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Some travel within service area may be required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman refrigeration experience required for supermarket equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace refrigeration systems.
• Familiar with electrical safety procedures and PPE selection.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rack and conventional refrigeration equipment.
• Install and startup refrigeration and cooling equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on existing refrigeration systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding tasks and impacts.
• Assist Refrigeration Service Manager with job progress and material/labor needs.
• Order parts as needed and document hours, tasks, and materials.
• Work with electrical components from disconnect to equipment; submit reports as required.
