Job summary

Amber Electrical seeks a Journeyman Service Electrician in Texas to maintain, oversee and work with a crew of apprentices and installers. You will report to a Project Manager and contribute to installations, alterations and repairs of electrical systems.

Responsibilities include training employees, testing and diagnosing systems, documenting results, and enforcing safety standards. Physical demands include climbing ladders, bending, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (implied).
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the commercial field.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service.
• Ability to work in varied environments and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, oversee and collaborate with apprentices and installers on job sites.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools to diagnose issues and ensure safety.
• Document actions, test results, observations, and final diagnoses for each job.
• Participate in safety meetings and uphold safety protocols.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, climbing, crawling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
