Amber Electrical is seeking an apprentice electrician to support Journeyman Electricians in the installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems. The apprentice will trench, pull wire, and bend conduit.

The role is on-site in Irving, TX, with hourly compensation of $18 to $20. Candidates must hold a TDLR-issued apprentice license (2–3 years), have a valid driver’s license, pass background and drug tests, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in extreme environments including hot sun and tight spaces.
• Regular, punctual, reliable attendance is required.
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• TDLR-issued apprentice electrical license required (2–3 years).

Responsabilités

• Assist in pulling wire, lifting and positioning materials.
• Install, repair, or replace generators and industrial storage batteries.
• Perform preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit using hand tools and benders.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and work area.
• Assist in electrical installations and terminations under supervision.
• Test equipment for continuity, voltage, current, resistance.
• Ensure safety rules and company procedures are followed.
