Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a qualified Scaffold Builder to construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding at industrial sites nationwide. A journeyman with 3+ years of experience is required, with strong emphasis on safety and adherence to OSHA and site rules.

Responsibilities include selecting scaffold types, inspecting materials, transporting components, and securing structures. Work will be performed on-site with full PPE and rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyman Scaffold Builder with a minimum of 3-years experience.
• Determines type of scaffold needed.
• Inspects job site and all scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
• Effectively communicates safety hazards and mitigates avoidable hazards prior to construction of scaffolding.
• Transports tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold to the dimensions required.

Responsibilities

• Erects, assembles, maintains, and dismantles tubular scaffolding.
• Hoists scaffolding materials and secures scaffold to permanent structures.
• Ensures proper securing and leveling of scaffolding components.
• Adheres to OSHA, site-specific and Austin Industrial requirements.
