Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Journeyman - Refrigeration to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems across various facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with compressors, evaporators, condensers, piping, and related controls, plus strong safety and regulatory knowledge.

You will collaborate with technicians and project managers to ensure quality installations, preventive maintenance, and timely service calls, including emergency support when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• EPA Certification Type II required.

Responsibilities

• Install refrigeration systems and components per specs and codes.
• Perform regular maintenance to extend system life.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration failures and replace faulty parts.
• Use diagnostic tools to assess performance and prevent issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
