Mountainland Technical College (MTECH) seeks a Journeyman Plumber and Maintenance Specialist to keep campus systems running safely and efficiently. You will work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining plumbing, HVAC, and life-safety equipment across classrooms and kitchens.

Qualifications

• Four years of hands-on plumbing and facilities maintenance experience.
• Familiar with CMMS, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
• Valid Utah driver’s license and journeyman plumber license required.
• Forklift certification to be obtained within first months.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
• Troubleshoot leaks and monitor pressure systems.
• Use hand and power tools to fit, assemble, and test pipe systems.
• Maintain CMMS records and assist with maintenance across trades.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with campus personnel.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
