Job summary

Bacon Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, repair and inspect plumbing systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings. You will work independently or with a team, ensuring code compliance, safety, and quality workmanship while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and joining piping, installing fixtures, testing for leaks, and supervising helpers as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Journeyman Plumber License issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) or equivalent.
• Industry knowledge and experience in plumbing.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Proven sales experience in business-to-consumer home services.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and inspect plumbing systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
• Read blueprints/building plans and interpret plumbing diagrams.
• Measure, cut, join piping and install fixtures and equipment.
• Locate layouts, test for leaks, ensure proper flow and pressure.
• Supervise apprentices or helpers as needed.
• Adhere to local, state and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle; document work performed.
