SSC Services for Education, a member of Compass Group, is hiring a Journeyman Plumber to join our education facilities team. The role requires a licensed journeyman with a solid track record in plumbing maintenance, capable of leading small projects and supervising other workers.

The ideal candidate will hold a DOL-accredited apprentice program plus 4 years as a Journeyman Plumber, possess a Class C license, and be able to perform physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8 years in training, including 4 years in a DOL-accredited Apprentice Program and 4 years as Journeyman Plumber.
• Valid Class C driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation of plumbing equipment and facilities.
• Read blueprints and plans, determine work layout.
• Supervise and train a team on projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain logs and use CMMS on mobile device.
