Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our team and deliver a wide range of plumbing services, including repairs, installations, and drain cleaning. You will diagnose issues, provide accurate estimates, and ensure high-quality results for customers across our growing network.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and a state-appropriate journeyman certification.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
• Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services.
• Valid driver’s license; state plumbing license preferred.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by state.
• Good written and oral communication skills for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to customer service calls, inspects plumbing issues, diagnoses problems, offers solutions and estimates, and closes service sales.
• With licensing, installs and repairs fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, and disposals.
• Conduct sewer and drain cleaning in basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters; restore sites to pre-job conditions.
• Prepare invoice, total costs, collect payment, and explain guarantees.
• Move on to the next service call after completing payment.
