Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Journeyman Plumber for our Facility Services team in Murfreesboro, TN. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems, and coordinating with contractors to sustain safe, efficient Walmart facilities.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 2 years of plumbing experience, and a state Journeyman license. Expect on-call rotation, safety compliance, and strong documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools.
Document maintenance activities, repair needs, and capital expense information accurately.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet quality and safety standards.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution or escalation as needed.
Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with management and team members to improve processes and maintain a safe work environment.
