Job summary

Walmart in Jesup, GA is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with plumbing experience to support ongoing operations at a Walmart facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair plumbing and related systems, and manage work orders and contractor activities.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2 years of plumbing experience, and a Journeyman license or equivalent.

Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Responsibilities

Assist in the operation of a Walmart facility and follow maintenance schedules.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety, function, and aesthetics of facilities and equipment.
Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related systems and equipment as needed.
Manage work orders, schedules, and contractors; document expenses and maintenance logs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart quality standards.
Operate and inspect vehicles and heavy equipment per safety policies.
Support on-call rotations and respond to incidents outside standard hours.
