Job summary

Phillips Academy is seeking a Plumber to perform maintenance and service repairs on plumbing systems, boilers, and other mechanical systems across campus. The role requires a Journeyman Plumbing License and a working knowledge of facilities mechanical systems, with on-call duties for emergencies.

Applicants should have strong analytical skills, read construction documents, and be able to work with minimal supervision in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Journeyman Plumbing License from Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure - Board of Plumbers and Gas Fitters.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to read construction documents, shop drawings, and material lists.
• Overtime may be required and participation in rotating on-call for 24/7 emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service repairs on plumbing systems, boilers, and other mechanical systems across campus.
• Respond to campus requests; work with minimal supervision per guidelines and procedures.
• Possibly be required to report to work during emergencies or extreme weather per campus policy.
