Responsibilities

• Work as a Journeyman Plumber in Houston, TX, supporting commercial and multi-family plumbing service needs throughout the Greater Houston area.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems.
• Perform plumbing repairs involving water lines, sewer and drain systems, gas lines, water heaters, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Handle drain cleaning, leak detection, sewer stoppages, plumbing diagnostics, and system repairs as required.
• Opportunities may involve commercial boilers, backflow systems, lift stations, grease traps, video inspections, remodels, and plumbing system upgrades.
• Respond professionally to scheduled service calls and, depending on the position, emergency plumbing calls.
• Accurately identify plumbing problems and recommend appropriate, code-compliant repairs.
• Communicate clearly with customers, property managers, facility personnel, dispatchers, and other team members.
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional work practices on every job.
• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety procedures, and employer standards.

• Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License

• Minimum 2 years of professional plumbing experience, with hands-on service, repair, or commercial plumbing experience

• Strong knowledge of plumbing diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair

• Ability to work with commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, water lines, sewer and drain systems, and related components

• Ability to read job information, identify plumbing issues, and complete repairs in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in the field while coordinating effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record may be required depending on the employer

• Availability for emergency or on-call work may be required for certain opportunities
