The role involves assisting in planning and maintaining technical work, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, with responsibilities across new commercial, tenant finish-out, retail, office, medical, warehouse and industrial projects, under the supervision

Qualifications

• Licensed journeyman plumber with a valid license.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and trade practices.
• Ability to work under supervision and maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

Description

We are looking for motivated and experienced licensed Journeyman to join our team for a growing commercial construction plumbing company. We perform work all over the DFW Metroplex area.

Summary

Responsible for assisting in maintaining the technical work and planning of, installations, modifications, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems and equipment, according to company standards, specifications, and plumbing codes, for the overall timely completion of all assigned projects in new commercial, tenant finish-out, retail, office, medical, warehouse, and industrial facilities, according to company standards, specifications, and plumbing codes while under general supervision of the lead foreman by performing the following duties.

Requirements

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid Driver's License
• 10 Hour OSHA Certification - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities

• Ability to meet deadlines, work under stress, and handle stressful situations in a professional manner
• Knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade
• Knowledge of prevailing codes of the plumbing trades
• Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions associated with the plumbing trade
• Ability to use, care for, and analyze, defects in equipment or tools, and determine necessary repairs
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel and associates
